These terms govern your use of the knurl website and tools (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them.

The Service

knurl provides deterministic developer utilities, including the Secret & Config Scanner, available on the web and as connectors for AI assistants. The Service analyzes text you provide and returns findings.

Provided "as is"

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The scanner uses pattern and entropy rules; a clean result is not a guarantee that your input is secure, and findings are informational. You are responsible for reviewing results and securing your own systems. To the maximum extent permitted by law, knurl is not liable for any damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to break the law or to attack, probe, or compromise systems you are not authorized to test.
Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service's infrastructure, or circumvent rate limits.
Don't resell or redistribute the Service as your own without permission.

We may rate-limit, suspend, or block access to protect the Service.

Your content

You retain all rights to the text you submit. We do not claim ownership of it and, as described in our Privacy Policy, we do not store the content of your requests.

Paid features

Paid tiers, when offered, are billed through a third-party Merchant of Record and are subject to that processor's terms in addition to these.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
